Fun, Food, Door Prizes, and Entertainment at the Annual Meeting 2023
JOEMC members, come out for an evening of food, door prizes, games, and entertainment at the JOEMC Annual Meeting 2023 of Members. This FREE, family-friendly event will be held on Friday, March 31, at the Onslow County Fairgrounds/American Legion Building at 146 Broadhurst Road in Jacksonville.
Highlighting this year’s meeting will be special entertainment from The Whiskey Rebellion. Drawing on their diverse musical backgrounds, The Whiskey Rebellion mix the spontaneity of bluegrass, the collectiveness of jazz, and the urgency of rock and roll to create their unique take on everything from traditional bluegrass to rock and roll favorites. The band covers many artists, from The Beatles to Doc Watson to Johnny Cash, but their approach is always steeped in their acoustic roots.
In addition to The Whiskey Rebellion, local guitarist Justin Castellano will perform during the night, and magician Bryan Sanders will return to entertain members. There will be FREE barbeque sandwiches, cold refreshments, games, giveaways, and informative displays. And don’t forget, as has become an annual meeting tradition, one lucky JOEMC member will win a recently retired fleet vehicle (“as is” condition).
Doors open, registration and displays all begin at 5:30 pm, local entertainment begins at 5:45, and the business meeting starts at 7:00 pm. At 8:00 pm, The Whiskey Rebellion takes the stage.
