At Jones-Onslow EMC, safety isn’t just a priority—it’s part of our culture. We’re proud to share some exciting news: JOEMC recently completed the Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program (RESAP)evaluation, and we passed with flying colors!
RESAP is a comprehensive safety audit that reviews our facilities, equipment, vehicles, and overall safety practices. It’s a program designed by the electric cooperative industry to ensure we uphold the highest standards of workplace and public safety.
This outstanding result is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and day-to-day commitment of our entire team. From our frontline crews and operations staff to the Safety Department and the Safety Team, this achievement is the result of a shared responsibility and strong teamwork across the cooperative.
We know excellence like this doesn’t just happen—it takes intention, collaboration, and consistency. We’re incredibly proud of everyone for helping create and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
As a token of appreciation for everyone’s efforts, JOEMC offices will close at noon on Friday, July 11 to give our team a well-deserved break. For those who are scheduled to work or are already off that day, you’ll receive a half-day off to use at a later time.
Thank you to our members for continuing to support JOEMC and trusting us to deliver not only reliable service but also a safe and professional organization behind the scenes.
Safety is a journey—and we’re proud to be on the right path.
