Jones-Onslow EMC is excited to give our members a little something that can grow along with our community—a FREE tree!

Trees do so much more than add beauty to our yards and neighborhoods. They provide shade, support wildlife, improve our environment and, when planted in the right place, can even help make our homes more energy efficient.

Reserve Your Free Tree

JOEMC members may reserve one tree per membership while supplies last.

Tree quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a tree, members must complete the reservation form below and select their preferred tree variety.

Please note:

• Limit one tree per JOEMC membership.
• Trees are FREE to participating members.
• A reservation is required.
• Quantities are limited and reservations will close when all available trees have been claimed.
• Trees must be picked up during the week of October 5, 2026.
• Trees cannot be shipped or delivered.

Tree Pickup

Tree pickup will take place during the week of October 5 at our Jacksonville and Sneads Ferry offices.

When completing the reservation form, you will select your preferred pickup location:

Sneads Ferry, NC

The exact pickup date and available pickup times will vary by location. Members who successfully reserve a tree will receive an email the week prior to pickup with their assigned pickup date, times and additional instructions.

Please make sure you are available to pick up your tree during the week of October 5 before submitting a reservation.

Trees that are not picked up during the designated pickup period cannot be guaranteed.

Choose the Right Tree for the Right Place

Before selecting your tree, take a moment to think about where it will eventually grow. Consider the tree’s mature height and spread, nearby structures and, most importantly, overhead and underground utility lines.

Remember: Right Tree. Right Place.

Never plant a tree directly beneath or too close to power lines, and always call 811 before you dig to have underground utilities located.
