One of the best parts of being a cooperative member is the BIG IMPACT we can make in our communities. As the new school year approaches, JOEMC is excited to support our local kids through the United Way’s CHEW Program by encouraging paperless billing in August.
Here’s how it works:
For every 500 members who sign up for paperless billing, JOEMC will donate $500 to the CHEW program.
The CHEW program—short for Children Healthy Eating on Weekends—provides students with backpacks filled with nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals each weekend. Hunger hinders students’ ability to excel in the classroom. Every week, dedicated volunteers pack these backpacks with breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, ensuring that students in need have access to healthy meals over the weekend.
By going paperless, you make a direct impact on the lives of these children. Paperless Billing is not only simple and convenient but also a way to support kids in need during the month of August.
Join us in fighting childhood hunger this school year by going paperless. Sign up today and make a difference!
