Energy Star certified appliances incorporate advanced technologies that use 10-50 percent less energy and water than standard models. Yes, Energy Star certified appliances may cost more when you purchase them but the money you save on your utility bills will more than make up for the difference in price.
By purchasing appliances that have earned the Energy Star certification you may also qualify for a bill credit from JOEMC. To find out which appliances qualify, click the form below. If you see your appliance listed, fill out the rebate form and return it to one of our offices.
As a JOEMC residential member, you can receive a rebate of $250 when you purchase and install a Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger for your home. The qualified EV Charger must be new and bought and installed during the program year (the program year began January 1, 2024). Complete the rebate form below and submit it. Once received by JOEMC, a representative will contact you regarding any additional information needed to process your rebate.
If your electric water heater has been around more than a decade, it might be time for a replacement. When shopping around, take a look at the energy-saving heat pump water heater (HPWH). While they typically cost more than standard water heaters, it can be two to three times more energy-efficient than conventional electric resistance units.
